Landknow draws on more than 20 years experience in the property industry and offers clients a wide scope of expertise to assist their property related needs. Founding Director, Simon Gill, has more than three decades of experience in the property and finance sectors. His post banking career began with Colliers Jardine as a Valuer before moving into developments with Clough Property and Ron Farris Real Estate. Development experience has included:
  • The Southern River Shopping Centre – a 12,450 sqm greenfield site, developed in three stages. Scope included feasibility, planning and design, project management and reporting, leasing and disposal of property.
  • Salentina Ridge - a 93 lot residential infill (former quarry) land development project in Beaconsfield / South Fremantle. Scope included planning and environmental approvals, pricing and marketing strategy, sales and settlement.
  • Reserve on Redgate - rural residential sub-division with an anticipated 160 lots managed for a private syndicate. Currently, three stages have been completed and 86 lots have been taken to market. Scope included feasibility, planning and design, project management and reporting, negotiating finance and overseeing sales.
  • Industrial Warehouse - redevelopment for a 6000 sqm property leased to Capral to move their WA interests to one location. Property includes offices. factory and warehoure. The scope of the $8M redevelopment included feasibility, planning and design, oversight of building and financing and lease negotation.
  • Ravenswood River Estate - a 100 lot semi-rural residential subdivision in Ravenswood. Scope included feasibility, re-zoning, planning approvals and development of marketing materials.
  • Corner Stirling Highway & Stirling Road, Claremont - a multi level, mixed use commercial, retail and luxury residential apartment development. Scope included site acquisition, feasibility, planning and design and development applications.
Additonally, Simon holds a triennial licence and was appointed as Licensee and General Manager at Ron Farris Real Estate in 2018; handing the business back to the next generation in early 2020. Landknow commenced in 2006 and has continually provided independant property advice, feasibility studies and valuations to assist clients with their property portfoilo. This work will continue, with Landknow's next phase also including development management and real estate services.
